Ceylon Tea Supplier: Frequently Asked Questions

Can I mix different teas in one order?

Yes. Mix and match classic, handmade, flavoured and herbal teas in one order. Share the teas, quantities and packing you need, and we will build one clear quotation.

Can the tea boxes carry our own branding?

Yes. We create private-label tea boxes, tea-bag envelopes, pouches and export cartons with your brand, artwork and label language.

What is Ceylon tea?

Ceylon tea is tea grown in Sri Lanka, the island once called Ceylon, from the Camellia sinensis plant. It is loved for its bright golden colour, brisk character and lively citrusy and floral notes, and is grown in seven famous regions from Nuwara Eliya to Ruhuna.

What does Ceylon tea taste like?

Ceylon black tea is bright, brisk and full-bodied with citrusy notes. High-grown teas such as Nuwara Eliya are light and floral, while low-grown Ruhuna teas are bold and malty, so there is a Ceylon tea for every taste.

What are the seven Ceylon tea regions?

Nuwara Eliya, Uda Pussellawa, Dimbula and Uva are high grown, Kandy is mid grown, and Ruhuna and Sabaragamuwa are low grown. Each region gives its tea a unique colour, aroma and character.

What is the difference between silver tips and golden tips?

Silver tips are young silvery buds with a delicate, honeyed cup, while golden tips are golden, downy buds with a smooth, sweet and malty cup. Both are hand-picked and handmade, and both are treasures of premium tea collections.

Is Ceylon tea good for iced tea and bubble tea?

Yes. Ceylon tea brews bright and clear and stays crisp over ice, which makes it a favourite for iced tea, Southern sweet tea and Ceylon milk tea in bubble tea shops.

Which tea formats do you offer?

Every tea is available as loose leaf, bulk, conventional tea bags, pyramid bags, retail boxes, including popular 25-tea-bag boxes, and 50 g pouches, all ready for private label.

Do you make seasonal and Halloween tea collections?

Yes. Our Halloween and autumn collection includes Pumpkin Spice Chai, Caramel Apple, Witch’s Brew and Blood Orange Hibiscus, perfect for seasonal launches and gift boxes. Planning seasonal orders a few months ahead gives your range the best start.

What is the MOQ for private-label tea?

Your quotation confirms the MOQ for your chosen teas, format and packing. Share your first-order quantity, repeat volume and target arrival date, and we will plan the best option together.
